Hi, welcome to www.oddlyenoughmosaics.com !

This guide is meant to help you get the most out of our new site! The site has two main components, the catalog and the community forum & gallery.

Catalog

The first page you land on is the Catalog Welcome page, which has several elements common to almost all Catalog pages. From the top to the bottom we have:

The Main logo, which will act as a link button back to the Catalog welcome page from anywhwere in the site, including the forums.

The Navigation bar, with links to the About Us page, the Site Map, this Site Use guide, the Gallery, the Community forum, the Catalog Login page, and the Catalog Sign Up page.

The sub Navigation menu, or breadcrumb trail, which lets you know where you are in the Catalog, with links, as well as links to edit your Catalog account, Your current Cart Contents, and The Checkout link.

The Products links, list the product categories, as well as the number of individual items within each category.

The Currencies box has a dropdown menu where you can select between Canadian Dollars, U.S. Dollars, or Euros. All prices on the site will be converted to the currency of your choice, automatically. Our prices are set in $CDN, so the $US and Euro prices will fluctuate from time to time.

The Quick Find box is the search function for the catalog, where you can enter keywords to look for on the catalog portion of the site, there is a separate search function for the forum and gallery (together). Advanced search will let you define some parameters for your search, in order to get better results, though for our site, it may be most useful for limiting the categories to be searched. There is a search help link, within advanced search, that can give examples of how the search engine deals with search terms alnoe, and in combinations.

In the Information section you will see links to various information pages available, including Shipping & Returns, our Privacy Policy, our site use terms and conditions, information About Us, a Site Map, and finally a link to our Contact Us page. Jeremy was pretty redundant concerning these links, and they show up in a few different places, such as the footer at the bottom of the page, and two, the site map and about us are also in the navigation bar near the top of each catalog page.

At the far right of each page, below the checkout link, you'll find the Shopping Cart. This will display the items you currently have in your cart. If you'd like to change a quantity, or completely remove an item from your cart, use the Cart Contents link, make the desired change, and PRESS UPDATE! This is important, as the changes will not take effect unless you use the update button!

To view our tiles, simply click on the category you'd like to see. You'll be taken to the Category index, a list of all the individual items, with thumbnail pictures, names, and prices (per pound usually) displayed. You can sort ,up or down, by both name, and price, by clicking the words Product Name, or Price. The triangle icon shows which method, and direction, is currently being used to sort products. To get more details on a specific product, click on the picture, the name, or the buy now link for that product. This brings up the detailed description of the item. You can add the item to your cart using the Add to Cart link. If you want to change the quantity, there is a drop down menu that will display the available options, with the adjusted price beside them.
